An individually wrapped feminine care absorbent article package has been patented. The article is comprised of an absorbent article and a wrapper material configured into a pouch. The absorbent article can be disposed of within the pouch. The wrapper material is made of a film layer and at least one fibrous material layer having a tactile cloth-like softness compared to the film layer. The layers are laminated together and the fibrous material is outward to define the outer surfaces of the pouch. The wrapper material defines a flap for the pouch, and the flap has at least a portion thereof bonded to an outer surface portion of the pouch. The film layer on the flap is bonded to the fibrous material layer on the pouch by only a thermal embossing process. The flap portion is bonded to a front surface of the pouch for the purpose of opening the pouch.
